Mr. Nasar us Samad Qureshi, Chief Executive

Mr. Nasar us Samad Qureshi has over 33 years experience in senior management positions in insurance companies in Pakistan and in the United Arab Emirates. He has received training at Chartered Insurance Institute, London  and various other  reinsurance markets. He has numerous contacts in international insurance and reinsurance markets.

Mr. Abdul Haye,  Executive Director  

Mr. Abdul Haye has over 18 years experience with a leading insurance company in Pakistan. He is an MBA from University of the Punjab and posses extensive knowledge of insurance as well as of the local market conditions. He brings with him enormous insight into the insurance industry of the country.

Capt. Azhar Ehtesham Ahmed,  Executive Director, South Zone  

Capt. Azhar E Ahmed, a Master Mariner served the shipping industry, afloat and ashore, before joining the insurance sector in 1993. During his tenure with the industry he served in various senior capacities before joining Alfalah Insurance as Executive Director, he had served as Chairman Accident Committee of IAP and as Vice Chairman of the executive committee of IAP, he has been writing regularly on insurance and shipping related matters in various publications and imparting training as guest speaker/trainer in various institutions and universities. Capt. Azhar has achieved the qualification of “Certified Director” from IFC and PICG.

Mrs. Shaheen H. Sumar,  General Manager, South Zone  

Mrs. Shaheen H. Sumar, Masters in Economics, brings with her over 29 years of experience in the insurance industry. She started her career as Marine underwriter with a leading insurance company of Pakistan and rose to the position of head of HR and Admin. She has also served as General Manager Operations, in an insurance company before joining Alfalah Insurance as General Manager, South Zone. She has served on the Fire committee and Council of Karachi Insurance institute.

Mr. Amjad Masood, Senior Assistant General Manager

Mr. Amjad Masood is a graduate from ECO College of Insurance, Tehran and has 30 years of experience to his credit in the local as well as international markets. Before moving to Pakistan in 2002 he worked with leading insurance companies in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. After coming back to Pakistan he joined National Insurance Company Limited and his last assignment was Zonal Head, South based in Karachi. He will lead our efforts in Non-Marine insurances.

Dr. Fawad Sarwar – Assistant General Manager Insurance

Dr. Fawad has joined us to head our Health Insurance Department. He completed his MBBS in 1999 and did his house job in Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine. He practiced Medicine for a couple of years and joined Health Insurance in December 2002 with a leading insurance company. He then joined another insurer as a Manager Accident & Health to set up their Health Insurance Department in July 2005.

Mr. Adnan Waheed – Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Adnan Waheed joined us in December 2007. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession and is an associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan. He has lately been working as an external audit supervisor on behalf of A. F. Ferguson & Co. at one of the leading insurance companies in the country and as such brings with him an in-depth knowledge of industry related financial issues coupled with system analysis and audit skills.

Mr. Manzoor Hussain – Senior Manager

Mr. Hussain graduated from the University of Punjab in 1972 and has overall 30 years experience in various positions with different insurance companies in Pakistan. He possesses extensive knowledge of insurance as well as of the local market. His last assignment was Chief Manager – Claims, North Zone Lahore with a leading insurance company which gave him extensive experience of claims management of various classes of insurance.

Mr. Robinson Asghar – Executive Area Manager, Islamabad

Mr. Robinson Asghar is an MBA and holds "Advanced Leadership Skills" Diploma from Haggai Institute, Singapore. He has widely travelled and has attended various conferences and seminars in different parts of the world. He Joined insurance industry in 1979 and has served with different leading insurance companies in Rawalpindi/Islamabad region before joining us in January, 2007. Mr. Asghar is a well known industry professional and is leading our efforts as Area Manager in the region.

Mr. Matloob Ali Ansari – Senior Manager Technical, South Zone

Matloob Ali Ansari holds the position of Technical Manager in Alfalah Insurance in South Zone. Besides having a degree in Law, he also holds the qualification of ACII (U.K.). He started his professional career in 1968 and has served in senior positions in reputable general insurance companies, both in Pakistan as well as outside Pakistan.

Mr. Engr. Muhammad Tauheed uz zaman Khan – Area Manager, Gujranwala

An Engineer by profession Mr. Khan joined the Insurance Industry in 1994 in the Risk Management and Engineering Insurance Division. Over the years he has been exposed to various sorts of assignments in the Insurance and Construction sectors. He has worked with leading Insurance Companies of the Country and has joined us as an Area Manager to handle the affairs of the Gujranwala Region. He is responsible for the Operations and Business Development in the Region.
